What data we process
When you submit an enquiry or a technical question, we process the data you provide, in particular your first and last name, email address, telephone number, message content and technical project information. This may include roof area, roof shape and the required power output.
Purpose and legal basis
We use the data to handle your enquiry, prepare an offer, communicate about the project and take steps before entering into a contract. The legal basis is primarily the necessity of taking steps at your request before entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and, where justified, our legitimate interest in communication and protecting legal claims under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Retention and recipients
We retain data from an ordinary enquiry for as long as necessary to handle it, normally no longer than 24 months from the last communication. Longer retention is possible only when required to perform a contract, meet a legal obligation or protect legal claims.
Our authorised staff and contractual providers of IT, hosting and email services may access the data where necessary to operate the website and communicate with you. We do not sell your data.
Transfers of data
Personal data submitted through contact, reservation and enquiry forms are not transferred to Future Product Design Inc. or to third countries. According to the confirmed operational information, they remain in the Czech Republic. Google Analytics is a separate analytics service that loads without analytics cookies before consent; details are provided on the Cookies page.
Google Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to evaluate website traffic in aggregate. Before consent, it may send limited signals without analytics cookies; we enable those cookies only after your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We must not send Google Analytics data that directly identifies you, such as an email address or telephone number.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before its withdrawal.
How to exercise your rights
Send us your request by e-mail and state which right it concerns. To verify your identity, we may reasonably ask for additional information. We will respond within the statutory time limit.
